Sheboygan Falls, WI – Elm Park Farms, Ltd. of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin announces the results of the successful 13th annual Elm Park Red Futures Sale. The collection of industry leading Red & White and Red-Carrier Holstein females, males, and embryo lots were featured at the Great Northern Sales Arena in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 26, 2005.

A record-breaking crowd participated in a record-breaking average for the top Red & White breeder sale in North America. 134 live female lots were sold for an average of $3341. These select Red & White breeding animals were sold to 16 states and one providence; from California to New York and Texas to Ontario! Individual embryos averaged $489 (per embryo) with top price being $1300 per embryo. The 8 bull lots averaged $1700 and the prices ranged from $1025 to the top selling bull at $2150.

The top selling female was lot #10, MD-Valleyvue Chris-Red-ET, consigned by Calvin Schrock of Oakland, MD, a stunning Red & White September heifer. Chris-Red has a full brother in A.I. and is A.I. contracted by Trans-World Genetics, Ltd. Her dam is the famous Oconnors Monet Clara-Red-ET! Chris-Red sold for $14,000 to Martin Kinyon, Lone Rock, WI.

The 2nd top selling female, lot #1 Sandy-Valley Septem Song-ET*RC, consigned by Sandy-Valley Farms, Scandinavia, WI is a sleek & dairy Red Carrier with 3 full brothers going to A.I. and 19 maternal brothers already in A.I., Song is also contracted for an A.I. bull! She was sold to Dr. Paul Knier, Oshkosh, WI for $12,500!
The experienced sales staff assisted in selling 35% of the animals “sight unseen” with bids given to the staff or sold on the phone during this exciting event. The staff included, David Rama, NY, Alan Dykshorn, IA, Scott Wilson, Ontario Canada, Gary Sell, WI, John Carpenter, PA and Ted Radintz, MN. Presenting the cattle were Max Prange, Jerry Jens, Kyle Natzke, and Rachel Gullicksrud. Nancy Schellinger, of Trans-World Genetics Ltd., hosted the presale complimentary continental breakfast for visitors from across the USA, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and Thailand!
